HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
We rang in the new year in style! We went bowling!

Colin had a few tries getting the ball down the lane on his own but, quite frankly, it was taking an awfully long time.

So we decided to use a ramp to help him out.

Is it my turn yet? Here is my ball! I am ready!

We had a lot of fun bowling and toasting the new year!

Dylan would roll his ball down the lane and this is how he would watch it go. I think this sums up the evening and the end of 2007. Welcome 2008!

Some "formal" family pics.
We went to Portrait Innovations to get some family pictures. We got some cute ones.

Here we are.

Dylan and Colin hamming it up!

Peek-A-Boo Colin!

I see you!

And one with Bobba and Zaida showing our UK spirit!

Trying out ice skating.

We decided to see how we would do on the ice. Dylan loved it and after a few minutes, he was on his own! Colin was not as fond of it but he tolerated it.

Mommy and her boys.

I just love these boys.

Family Portrait...(yes, Jonny is wearing a one piece given to him by my brother about 10 years ago. Chris has quite a sense of humor doesn't he?)

...and our traditional Dylan and Colin picture. My how they have both grown!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Dylan and Colin put reindeer food out for Santa's reindeer. After all, those reindeer are working hard as well so they also deserve some treats!

Now for Santa's treats. Some yummy cookies decorated by Dylan and some milk. Santa sure does need his strength!

Christmas morning. The boys has such fun with the gifts. We spent the whole day in PJs and enjoyed our family time together!

The boys loved these camping backpacks they got. They wore them most of the day and pretended to camp in every room of the house.

We keep our kids working!

There is no free ride here in Lexington for the kids. Dylan was peeling some potatoes for dinner. KP duty for him!

Then Bobba taught him how to knit his own clothes. No more brand name things from Targay! :)

After that Bobba taught the boys how to make Challah. Next I will work on having them make the entire dinner so I can keep my feet up on the couch and eat bon bons! LOL.

Ain't it cute? Dylan made a Challah letter for everyone in the family. I can vouch for the taste....they were YUMMY!

Colin decided the best way to get out of this work was to hide in a box from one of his toys.

COLIN IS TWO!!!!

I can hardly believe that our baby is 2 years old! Was it really 2 years ago that he was born? It is just crazy!
We began the celebration at his school with cupcakes all around!

Then on to a Mickey Mouse party at home! Colin had a blast with his friends.

Colin really did not even let us sing...he only wanted to blow out the candles! He is really in to this birthday thing!

Of course, it is not a party until someone gets naked! Well, the birthday boy did just that....first his shirt came off...then the pants....then the diaper...bringing the phrase birthday suit to a whole new level!

December keeps rolling on.....

The boys were a big help this year decorating the Christmas tree. Last year Dylan really enjoyed it and this year Colin also got to have some fun with it!

Half way through the month Bobba and Zaida arrived. We were all thrilled to have them here!

At Dylan's last Shaolin class of the session, he got his yellow belt! He was over the moon. Here he is with Master Tie...proud as can be.

The boys got the train out for under the tree. Needless to say, they spent no less than 5 hours with it the first day alone. It quickly became an obsession....and they ask how Pinki and I can scrapbook for 6 hours straight?

HANNUKAH

Hannukah was a bit early this year. The boys really enjoyed celebrating and seemed to embrace many of the traditions we do every night.

Dylan was thrilled to be able to light the candles on his own. I look forward to keeping up our traditions each night of Hannukah as the boys get older.

December was a very busy month! Just a few pictures before all the true excitement began!

Raking some of the leaves before we put up Christmas decorations!

So, during lunch one day, we asked Dylan if he could stick out his tongue and touch his nose. He tried and tried but this is about as far as he got (FYI, Jonny can do this)

However, much to our amusement, Colin had a whole other interpretation of what we asked! He was quite literal about it!

Who put who to sleep? After Jonny seemed to be taking quite a long time to read Dylan his good night story, I went up to check on him. This is what I found.

One of the recent phenomena in our house occurs when Daddy comes home from work. it is called "Let's dog pile on Daddy!"

And the rest of November....

Colin is all ready for school! He is now going one day a week and he is so excited!

Brotherly love....ain't they just the cutest?

Planting some trees in the backyard. We got 10 saplings that we planted...we shall see if any of them survive. It will be cool if we can get some trees out of these though! We are hopeful!

Someone just LOVES his food....especially dessert!

THANKSGIVING

We had a nice Thanksgiving up in Cincinnati with the Bullions family! Yummy food, fun friends...there is nothing better!

Dylan just loves spending time with Wilson!

BOYS WILL BE BOYS!

It started out innocently enough. Dylan decided to pull Colin on a sled from his tractor. However, it got more complicated when the tractor ran out of battery.

Dylan wanted a turn....so Jonny had to come up with a solution....

...and in coming up with this solution, he got some major exercise! But hey, the boys had fun!

JAMAICA MON!

We went to Jamaica with Jonny's family to celebrate his dad's 60th birthday. We had a great time at the Beaches Resort in Negril.

Dylan and Colin relaxed on the balcony of our room.

Jonny, Bobba and the kids dug in the sand and made a large enough hole for Max and Dylan to sit in! They also made some great sand castles.

Yup! That is me parasailing! it was such an amazing time! Beautiful!

Our last night Dylan, Colin and Max played in the sand while a steel drum band played. What a fun trip!
