One of the first T-Ball outings! Dylan began t-ball once we got back from Orlando. He plays for the Indians and his coach, Coach Bill, arranged for the team to go to the Lexington Legends game (the minor league team for the Braves).

Not only did we all go to the game, the team got to go out on the field to meet the players. Dylan is 4th from right.

They team got to hang out with the players while the players warmed up and signed autographs. Dylan is 3rd from right.

Then when the announcers introduced the players, they also introduced their "partner" players on the Indians! As they were announced, each player from the t-ball team ran out with a player from the Legends. (Dylan is on the far left)

They stood out there for the National Anthem and then ran back to enjoy watching the game!

Then we let Dylan and Colin pick out a special treat. Dylan chose cotton candy and Colin chose popcorn. I suppose Dylan got his Daddy's sweet tooth and Colin got his Mommy's popcorn obsession!

The rest of April! Well, we did a few other things in April besides go to Orlando!

Right before we left, Kathy went to Guatemala to pick Lucas up! I got to get them from the airport! He is such a cutie!!! Congratulations Kathy, Raymond and Lucas!

At Passover, Colin really loved the matzoh. He wanted it with every meal.

And a piece would not do...he needed a "big square!"

We made it to the second to last day of Spring Meet at Keeneland. The boys enjoyed watching the horses go in and out of the track on the spectator circle.

They even let Dylan and Colin pet and feed the lead horses. So fun!

Last Disney Post! Here are some more Disney pictures that the Disney PhotoPass people took. I just got the CD and I am so pleased with the pictures. This allowed me to enjoy seeing the kids meet the characters instead of worrying about getting the best picture. Also, we would have never gotten a family picture otherwise!

It is Donald Duck!

Goofy Goofy Goofy!

While Colin napped, Dylan got to meet Mike.....

....and Sulley

One of the things the PhotoPass people are set up for is getting cute pics like this...where it looks like Dylan is wearing Mickey's Sorcerer's Hat at Hollywood Studios.

Here he is....Mickey!

And, of course, Mom and Dad had to jump in to meet Mickey Mouse too!

Hi Pluto!

Eeyore, Tigger and Pooh!

Here we are in front of Cinderella's Castle.

Look closely in Colin and Dylan's hands! They had a little visitor!

Dylan was over the moon when he got to meet Mr and Mrs Incredible!

He even had a high five for Mr Incredible.

And the Yellow Power Ranger posed Dylan in this picture...I just love the look on his face.

Dylan got to hold baby Simba...

...so cute!

We had a great time!

FAMILY TIME IN ORLANDO

We were so lucky to be able to spend time with my mom's sister and her family in Orlando. It really warmed my heart to see Dylan attach himself to her. He was positively enamored. As soon as he found out we were going to see Nana's sister, he was so excited.

Here was a common sight...Dylan holding Aunt Shirley's hand.Anytime we went anywhere, he just held her hand.

Uncle Bob had a good time playing with Colin.

Dylan took everything he had learned from Disney World and made a whole speech that he told several times. He began it with "Please remain seated, no eating, drinking, smoking or flash photography." Then he went on to tell the Circle of Life that went from dinosaurs to the rainforests to the presidents. It is quite funny and I really need to get him to tell it again so I can get it on video....as long as I do not use flash photography! Anyway, here is Dylan after one of hie famous performances with Aunt Shirley and uncle Bob.

Here is my second cousin Ty, and his wife and new baby. She is such a doll! It was so nice to see everyone.

I will admit, it was very difficult to say good bye to them. Aunt Shirley reminds me of my mom in so many ways but she also reminds me of my Grandma Jo in many ways as well. Even Uncle Bob reminds me of my dad in some ways. It was a comforting trip.
MORE DISNEY WORLD PICTURES!!!

Here are some candid pictures from our camera. I will also eventually post the pics from the PhotoPass that Disney people take. There are some cute ones there.

Here is Dylan on Goofy's Barnstormer roller coaster. He really enjoyed this roller coaster. Colin was having a little nap while Dylan went on this one.

I just think this picture is so cute. Colin was sometimes a bit timid with the characters so we asked Dylan to hold his hand. Well, for Mickey, Colin grabbed Dylan's hand and just stood there jumping from foot to foot so excited to meet Mickey. It was such a cute moment. Heart warming.

I have a picture almost exactly like this from when Dylan first met Mickey 2.5 years ago. So cute!

The boys on the carousel.

Dylan was over the moon when he finally got to meet Mary Poppins. He has been talking about meeting her ever since he first saw the movie over a year ago. He was so excited and shy at the same time. It was very sweet.

There is a petting zoo at The Animal Kingdom. Dylan managed to keep most of the people who worked with the animals busy with myriad questions. In the meantime, the goats had a roped off area they could go into to be on their own. Colin saw a goat walking toward the rope and held the rope up and tried to get the goat to walk under it. He was very confused when the goat decided to lay down instead of going in.

How tired was Colin? Well, anyone who has gone on the Kilimanjaro Safari will know that this is not a ride that should lull one to sleep. The ride is bumpy and unpredictable. However, Colin had no problem falling asleep on it one afternoon!

The Finding Nemo section at Epcot was a huge hit with the kids. They really enjoyed the ride, Turtle Talk with Crush and seeing all the fish and things to play with.

After Test Drive, there were a bunch of cars. The boys loved this yellow car....I, however, had to catch my breath when I saw a possible preview of life in about 11 years!

Colin finally got to ride the Barnstormer roller coaster. This was the most exciting one he was tall enough to ride. He loved it. The first time he went on, he saw some girls in front of him putting their arms up...well, he had to do the very same thing!

COLIN'S FIRST HAIR CUT!!!!

We went to Orlando to see my mom's sister and her family. We also made it to Disney World! I am sure I will have a few posts about this trip but here is the first: Colin's hair cut.

Here is the best before picture I could find. This is on the way to the Magic Kingdom and Colin was using his sharp eyes to find Mickeys on the signs! He was so excited.

Dylan got his hair cut first. Amazingly, the barber that cut his and Colin's hair was the same one who gave Dylan his first hair cut when he was 20 months old! The barber thought it was very special that he was cutting Dylan's hair again 3.5 years later!

Then it was Colin's turn. The barber, Michal, was so good with him. Michal distracted him by letting him play with "Pixie Dust" which is really just sparkley Mickey ears. Colin was obsessed with picking them all up and putting them in a bag.

All done and getting his "First Hair Cut" Mickey ears!

Michal asked Colin if he liked his hair cut and let him see himself in the mirror! By Colin's reaction, I think he approves.

Here is an after picture (after he took off his Mickey ears) while driving at the Autopia. He really does not look too different because Michal kept a lot of his curls. He did a great job though. And now we can say that Colin has finally had his first hair cut....finally...at almost 27 months old!
