SEPTEMBER 2007
We had another fun filled month with a birthday, a trip to Philly, fall soccer for Dylan and everyone getting into the fall groove!

First we finished Dylan's new room. He loves his dinosaur sheets. The room is blue on the top half (including ceiling), brown on the bottom half with a green chair rail in the middle (that is somewhat magnetic...magnetic paint does not work great but it works with small magnets). He was very excited about making his bed into the bunk bed at first but the top bunk has since been removed at his request. Oh well.

Jonny was playing with the new camera and one of the features is to make a pic in black and white except for one color. I thought this was a cute pic of Colin in his overalls.

The boys took the toys out of their toy cupboard and decided to get in themselves. There is kind of a Brady Bunch-esque feel to the picture isn't there?

We went to Philly to visit Arati, Tom and Neil and, as luck would have it, Beth, Dave, Amanda and Jace were in town from Boston as well! We always joke that when we all get together, one of us is pregnant. Last time Arati and I were pregnant. This time Beth was pregnant (and Arati was newly pregnant as well!)! We will have to stop this trend soon though or else we will not be able to afford to get together! Here are all the kids looking out the window while waiting for a seat at IHOP.

We also went to the Aquarium in New Jersey. Neil, Tom, Arati, Jonny and Colin enjoyed watching the seals.

Even though we celebrated Jonny's birthday in Philly, we still had a small celebration when we got home. Dylan decorated the cake all by himself! He did a great job!

Great job on Dylan's new digs! (Ok, so nerd-herder that I am, I cannot stop chucking about the association between "digs," "dinosaurs," and other paleontological jargon... :P)

The photo of both boys on the shelf is marvelous!

The toy cupboard pic is so cute!! Too funny about removing the top bunk. :) We recently bunked Ashley's also and she refuses to sleep on the bottom one. She claims the bottom of the bunkie board looks like spider webs. Kids are so funny!! The room looks great. Wanna come do ours. :)
