SEPTEMBER 2008
September brought a lot of morning (read: all day) sickness for me. But it also brought a visit from Pinki and Issy. The boys enjoyed the Dinosaur Park. Here is Colin riding a mammoth!
Then Dylan and Colin narrowly escaped the jaws of a T-Rex! What a dangerous, yet fun day!
Playing on the playset with Bobba and Zaida.
It was a windy Sunday so we decided we would go out and fly kites. Jonny almost lost one of our kites in the neighbor's yard (3 yards over).
It was not until later on in the day that we realized that perhaps we shouldn't have been outside flying kites considering the winds (which got much worse) were the remnants of Hurricane Ike.
Later on that day, we celebrated Jonny's birthday. Here is a family portrait.
Another day, while gardening, we found a praying mantis. We named him Manny. The boys were fascinated.
We actually saw Manny several more times. He seemed to like us.
We got a visit from Hillary, Aaron and Wilson at the end of the month. The boys liked riding in the tractor.

I love the praying mantis pic. They are so absorbed! Isn't it wonderful, at times like this, to have kids & see through their eyes?
