HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY DYLAN!!!!

I can hardly believe that Dylan is 5 years old. We celebrated this milestone birthday with a few days of fun!

It all began at Dylan's school on Friday, Feb 15. We brought in cupcakes for Dylan and his friends to munch! He made a birthday crown and sweetly made one for his little brother as well. The only difference between Dylan and Colin's crown was that Dylan's crown never came off his head for about 5 days!

That night we celebrated with a fondue dinner (Dylan's choice) with the Bullions family!

Then came the cake! Dylan blew out his candles...

...and then snuck a lick of the frosting!

Aaron enjoyed his cake...

...as did Colin!

The next day we went to the local children's museum called the Explorium for Dylan's birthday party. Dylan and his friends began the dino-themed party by making some fossils of their own! So cool!

Then they had an incredible dinosaur cake. It was truly a masterfully decorated cake.

Aaron, Colin and Raymond enjoyed their cake immensely!

Dylan was adamant that on his birthday, he was king for that day and everyone had to listen to him. Imagine my laughter when we walked into the room for his party and saw this throne...just further emphasis of his view of being king for a day!

After the cake, ice cream, presents and playing, the kids moved into the Explorium to play some more. Dylan mastered the climbing wall.

Dylan and his proud Daddy!

The celebrations ended with Dylan digging into his baum kuchen (German for tree cake).

This cake is a Lifshitz family tradition that Bobba and Zaida send every year! YUM!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!! You bring light, joy, and love to our lives every day.
